It's Really Obvious

Tonight, my partner and I were on Second Life for a change. We decided to get dressed to the nines, as we often do, and go do some ballroom dancing.

One extremely popular ballroom has new management and a brand-new building, and the new owners don't know squat about running a ballroom. They've ruined it entirely.

One ballroom is completely gone.

There were others, but nobody was in them. We settled on a piano jazz place that had one other couple in it. We enjoyed ourselves but it was soon BY ourselves as the other couple left.

This is how it's getting across Second Life. The places that were popular at all hours are dwindling. The landscape is bereft of other avatars.

Gee. It looks like Inworldz when it first started.

It's sad, really.
